A Repository of Photos from the Families of Luanne (née Gossett) & Ira Lansing
Yet another opportunity for family and friends to get dressed up and celebrate together.
Unlike Jeremy’s Bar Mitzvah, Michele’s was a double and shared with another classmate (not someone we really knew). Photo #6 shows the other girl.
A not too uncommon Bar/Bat Mitzvah is to have a baby photo blown up onto poster board and all the guests sign it with a greeting. See #20
The table center pieces contained a decoration of flowers and M&M’s. Luanne and Michele are making these in #4. Note Michele’s cornrow hair style.
#12 shows that by this time Lenny had had his stroke (he lived for 7 years after this), but Betty brought him, along with helpers and a friend from the VA Center where Lenny stayed after his stroke. Note standing behind Betty is Pat Zentner, the neighbor from across the street on Graceland Dr.
