Two items stick out when you go through immigration in Singapore: you must declare any chewing gum and a warning that transporting illegal drugs will result in execution. Period.
The city/country is amazingly clean; you have to look hard to find trash not in a receptacle. It also does not seem to suffer from horrendous traffic like many other cities in the area. This may be due to the high cost of car ownership: a permit equal to the price of the car is required before you can buy any car. While there are motorcycles, there does not seem to be the abundance of scooters seen elsewhere.
Unfortunately Singapore, for us on this trip was more of a transition point, so there are not too many photos.
