Days Past

Ira’s father Mitcheal was interviewed by Ira’s mother Viola, some years before he died.  He describes in a series of 4 audio files his early life and his side of the family.  The original recordings were done on audio tape cassettes.  Mitcheal had a thick accent his entire life and some portions of the audio heavily reflect this.  He died in 1985 of congestive heart failure.

The accompanying picture shows Ira and his parents outside their home in Beverly Hills, dressed to go to Ira’s sister Judith's wedding.  Note the 1959 American Motors Rambler in the driveway.
