Luanne and Ira were married on June 18, 1978 at the Ambassador Hotel and Garden in Los Angeles. This was the home of the original Coconut Grove. Over 200 people were in attendance for a sit-down dinner of fish or steak.
Luanne and Ira left on their honeymoon the next day, flying first class (a mysterious free upgrade) to the Big Island of Hawaii.
Luanne’s bridesmaids were her two close friends, Denise and Maureen. The groomsmen were Ira’s nephew, Jim and his (Ira’s) new brother-in-law, Paul.
