Summertime in Antarctica reveals a terrain of great variety: rocks, mud, snow and ice.
Of course the landscape is covered with native animals. A variety of penguins abounds, along with seals, seal lions, birds and whales at sea.
We were fortunate enough to be able to sail into areas that have not been accessible for years. Thank you global climate change! The sights were amazing, including an afternoon on an ice floe. These pictures cannot do true justice to the beauty of Antarctica.
