First Stop—Ghana
After our 18 hour, one stop flight from San Francisco we landed in Ghana. Like many places on the west coast of Africa, many of the buildings look abandoned and like they are ready to be torn down, but they are occupied and under construction! There are many open market places and the retail stores are most likely curbside displays of anything and everything.
One of our adventures here was in Kakum National Park where we took a canopy tour of the jungle. Suspension bridges in the treetops, vegetation down below.
