Perhaps a highlight of our 4 days in Boston was the Segway tour we took the first day in town. Not too unexpectedly it rained, but that did not stop us or our tour guide. No surprise, the two of us were the only ones taking the tour that day. We have ridden Segways before so we knew what to expect and this tour covered every part of the city—12 miles up, down and sideways. A great way to get an overview, and riding a Segway on cobblestone streets is an experience not to be missed.
One night met a friend from California for a wonderful dinner in Boston’s North End. Probably 300 Italian restaurants can be found there and ours was pretty good.
Another night we met for dinner our niece Iris and her two children Aaron and Shoshana. Later we visited Iris at her work in Cambridge and toured the MIT and Harvard campuses. There is a lot to see and we only touched the surface. But Cape Cod beckoned.
