In July of 2016 Luanne and Ira drove from home to Chicago.  The motivation for this journey was to bring to Michele and Joe in Chicago a  complete set of great-grandma’s china dishes.  Upon delivery, some of these pieces will now have been in the family for six generations.  Not wanting to risk breakage, driving provided the scenic solution.

The route chosen included stops in Yellowstone and Mt. Rushmore National Parks and went through 8 states.  There is a short movie of Old Faithful erupting.
