On the Road Again
In the spring of this year Luanne and Ira made arrangements to meet friends of theirs from Wisconsin for a drive down the Mississippi River, visiting a variety of sites along the way. They all were to meet in Dubuque, Iowa and end the trip in New Orleans. Unfortunately, the friends had to cancel after meeting in Dubuque, but Luanne and Ira carried on.
After a weekend visit in Chicago with the Palter family, Luanne and Ira rented a car, drove to Dubuque and began their journey.
