In July Jess, Jeremy and Kaia hit the road and drove to Colorado (Kaia actually flew with Jess’ father and returned with Tim Biddle and met them there).
The following is from Jeremy’s blog:
"Cancer·Moon/kansərmo͞on/noun noun: Cancermoon; plural noun: Cancermoons
a trip or adventure taken by the Lansing family to celebrate recovering from Leukemia. synonyms: none.
"The Lansing family drove to Colorado for Jess's Cancermoon.” Also see: Honeymoon, Megamoon, Babymoon, and Dadchelor Party
Hi Folks. So most of you have surmised correctly, no news is good news. I'm planning on this being our last update via this medium of communication. I won't pretend that "things are back to normal," but I can say with a high level of confidence that we aren't in a state of crisis each waking moment. Jess would probably warn all of you that when I say things with a high level of confidence it has no correlation to actual facts, but none-the-less, I think we'll probably allow each of you to have an easier time opting out of our family's happenings by not adding to your 8,453 unread emails. Feel free to sign up for our newsletter, buy a t-shirt, and leave a 5-star review on Yelp!…
For the last 8 months cancer has defined our lives. I think we are looking forward to the moment when it is just an event that was a part of our lives and we get to be defined by much much more. Thank you for all that you do and we hope that you continue to love yourself during your lowest of times as much as you've loved us during our hardest of times. If we don't start by loving ourselves first then what is the fucking point of it all?
p.s. Yes, Jess has a mohawk with blond tips. She wakes up in the morning like this, el naturale."
