On May 17 Jessica was released to go home, her home. This was the 84th day since the bone marrow transplant and was earlier, by a week or so, than expected. That’s all good, to say the least.
Don’t forget that throughout this entire process Jeremy was dealing with a kitchen remodel. This was the result of discovering a leak that created mold in the kitchen. So what do you do? Take it all out and start over. Just like the treatment for leukemia, minus the chemotherapy. Completely new immune system, completely new kitchen.
